It was therefore only right to choose astaxanthin when creating our first serum. After months of intensive work, we created SIGNATURE Flamingo Serum - an antioxidant booster of daily skincare regimen with exceptional anti-aging properties*, providing protection against blue light and digital aging**.
Unlike synthetic astaxanthin commonly available on the market, we use its fully natural form extracted from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae. This exceptional antioxidant is 6000 times more effective than vitamin C and 770 times more potent than coenzyme Q10***. Astaxanthin is often called an internal sunscreen as it provides protection against UV radiation while neutralizing oxidative stress and other harmful external factors. It effectively slows down aging processes, restoring skin's healthy radiance. Additionally, it regulates melanin production, preventing hyperpigmentation and evening out skin tone.
The effectiveness of astaxanthin is complemented by our helichrysum flower infusion in organic cold-pressed jojoba oil. This unique duo of ingredients comprehensively supports skin health: jojoba oil intensively moisturizes and rebuilds the lipid barrier, while helichrysum provides anti-inflammatory and restoring properties. Helichrysum strengthens blood vessels and soothes irritation. The actives present in helichrysum flowers also have antibacterial and antiviral properties, supporting skin regeneration, accelerating wound healing, and reducing scars while improving skin firmness and elasticity, bringing relief to dry or irritated skin. The helichrysum flower scent is delicate, sweet, and floral, and it's what gives our serum its subtle tone.
Our formula is complemented with carefully selected olive-derived squalane. This natural ingredient, compatible with human sebum, not only regenerates the lipid barrier and intensively smoothes the skin but also enhances the bioavailability of other active ingredients. Thanks to its light consistency, it absorbs instantly, providing the skin with long-lasting hydration and silky soft finish.

*Manufacturer's in vitro study on human keratinocytes showed a reduction in oxidative cell stress by 87.52% when using the minimum effective concentration^ of natural astaxanthin derived from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis.
**When our skin is exposed to blue light stress, profilaggrin expression decreases significantly. Manufacturer's ex vivo study on human skin explants subjected to blue light stress showed improvement greater than 80% in profilaggrin expression when using the maximum effective concentration^ of natural astaxanthin derived from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis compared to placebo.
